Will the SVDLME001BK fit my door?
It fits a solid swing door leaf 35–55 mm thick with a 60 mm or 70 mm backset mortise pocket — which covers most Malaysian wooden and aluminium entrance doors. The lock case is 90.5 × 177 mm (100 mm overall) with 68/52 mm centres, and the deadbolt throws 19.7 mm.
It is not for three things, and we would rather say so here than after you have paid: fire or smoke doors (fire Grade 0), fully rain-exposed doors (corrosion Grade 0 — undeclared), and metal grill gates (no solid leaf to hold the mortise case). If any of those is your situation, read the grill-door guide or tell us and we will quote something else.

What the test report actually says
Most smart-lock listings claim “military grade” and cite nothing. This one has a real report, so here is every digit in plain English — including the three that are not flattering.

My door is 35 mm thick — is that too thin?
No, 35 mm is the bottom of the supported range, so it fits. Below 35 mm this is the wrong model and the narrow-stile A series is the right family instead.

Can I put this on my grill gate?
No. It needs a solid leaf to house the mortise case, and its corrosion rating is undeclared so it should not sit in the rain. The grill-door guide explains what does work.

My condo door is fire rated. Can you fit it anyway?
We will not. Fire is Grade 0 — not declared — and fitting an unrated lockset to a certified fire door can invalidate that door’s rating and breach your building’s fire strategy. Ask management for the door schedule; if it is a fire door, we will quote a fire-rated alternative instead.

Does it need Wi-Fi to work?
No. Fingerprint, PIN, card and key all work with no network at all. Wi-Fi and Zigbee are only for app control, remote PINs and the access log. If your internet drops, the lock keeps working.

Which app do I install, and is it a Tuya lock?
Both answers are the same answer. Day to day you use the Smartverse App, paired through the Smartverse Hub — the Hub is the physical gateway, the App is what goes on your phone, and people mix the two names up constantly. Underneath, these are Tuya-platform locks, so if your house is already on Tuya they will pair there too. The manufacturer’s spec sheet also carries a Home Assistant badge for a self-hosted setup. We pair it and set up your fingerprints and PINs with you on the day, and we do not leave until at least two people in the house can open the door.

How many fingerprints can I store?
300 users in total — 9 administrators plus 291 general — shared across fingerprints, PINs and NFC cards. More than any household needs, and enough for a small office.

Can someone see my PIN and reuse it?
The keypad accepts padding: type random digits around your real PIN up to 29 characters and it still opens. It makes shoulder-surfing far harder without you memorising anything new.

We quote supplied-and-fitted in writing before we start, because that is the number that matters. It depends on your door, so the photo check comes first. No deposit, and the enquiry is free.
