Smartverse · Smart Home System, Malaysia

The house that understands.

Curtains, light, air, and the door — listening to one another, so you stop thinking about any of them.

The Smartverse smart home series — installed by MyLock’s verified technicians across the Klang Valley (Kuala Lumpur & Selangor), and further by arrangement.

Smartverse system architecture & hardware

Before it is smart,
it is well made.

A radio that keeps its own counsel.

Zigbee 3.0 meshDevices speak to the hub directly. Routines run in the house, not in a data centre.

A hub that answers to you.

Smart Hub · Wi-Fi 6 dual bandMCMC certified HIDF25000228. One per home. Everything joins through it.

A door that has been tested, not described.

Digital lock · flagshipSIRIM-tested. Fingerprint, code, card, and key — the mechanical key stays.

Control — scene button, app and voice

Three ways to say it.

By hand — the scene button

One button on the wall

A single press begins an evening. The scene button carries your most-used routine, so guests and grandparents never need the app.

By phone — one app for the whole house

Everything on one screen

Every device on one screen — at home, or from the other side of the world. See the camera. Open the door for a delivery. Close what was left open.

By voice — Google Assistant & Alexa

Say the word

Works with Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa. “Movie night” is a sentence, not a sequence of switches.

One hub — lights, curtains, aircon, CCTV, EV charger, door lock

Morning to night,
the house keeps up.

Turn the knob. Press a switch — press several. Or call a scene, and the whole house moves at once: curtains, light, air, the door.

Smart home scenes and automations

A day, arranged.

A scene is a handful of devices acting together on a schedule or a touch. These are the six that Malaysian households actually live by.

07:30 Morning
The curtains draw themselves. Light arrives before you ask for it.
08:30 Leaving
One touch. The lights rest, the sensors take the watch, the door locks behind you.
12:30 Away
Glance at the camera. Let the courier leave the parcel inside the gate, then seal the house again — from your desk.
18:30 Returning
Your fingerprint opens the door, and the house recognises the hour — lights warm, air settles to your setting.
20:00 Evening
Curtains close, the room dims to movie light. Nobody stands up.
22:30 Night
The house powers down without being checked. And the door locks.

Access

Smart lock access control — who has a key to your house?

Who has a key to your house?

A Malaysian home is a household — family across generations, and the people who keep it running. A key that cannot tell them apart is not a key. It is a hole in the wall. Here, every person enters their own way, on their own terms, and you can change your mind from your phone.

  • You

    Fingerprint · any hour

The house answers to you first. Your entry, your rules, your record of who came and went.

Revocation: never needed — you hold the master.

  • Adult children

Fingerprint or code · any hour

Home at midnight from KL traffic without waking anyone. The log notes the hour; nobody waits up.

Revocation: from the app, in a moment.

  • A resident parent

    Fingerprint · any hour

No card to mislay, no code to remember, no phone required. A thumb on the reader, and the door gives way gently.

Revocation: not while they live with you.

  • The live-in helper

Her own code · her own hours

Entry that works for the household’s rhythm — and is hers alone, so the log is honest without a word being said.

Revocation: the day the employment ends.

  • Driver & gardener

Card or code · working hours

The gate and the outer door, weekdays, daylight. The house itself keeps its own counsel.

Revocation: per person, without changing anyone else’s.

  • The guardhouse

    Named card · logged

Patrol access that is issued, not lent. When the guard company rotates staff, the card retires with the man.

Revocation: one entry in the app.

  • A contractor

    Code with a lifespan

Valid for the renovation fortnight, gone the day the work is done. No key to recover, no lock to change.

    Revocation: expires on its own.

  • A one-time guest

    A code that works once

For the aunt arriving before you land, the florist on the wedding morning. Used once, then it never existed.

    Revocation: it revokes itself.

Exact credential types vary by lock model — we map your household to the right model during the consultation.

Main-door installation

We treat the entrance
with the respect it holds.

In many Malaysian homes the main door is chosen, oriented, and timed with care, and we work within that. Fitting is non-destructive to the door leaf — on solid timber, mild-steel security doors and double-leaf entrances — wherever the door allows; the system serves any direction the door faces; and if your consultant has chosen a date for the installation, that is the date we come. The mechanical key remains — tradition keeps its place.

The Smartverse device ecosystem

Ten devices. One quiet system.

Begin with the hub and the door. Add a room when you are ready. Nothing bought early is wasted later.

  • Smart Hub

The centre. Every device joins through it; scenes live on it.

Smart home installation & compatibility FAQs

Before you decide.

Does a Smartverse smart home work when the internet is down?

Zigbee routines run through the hub inside the house, so everyday automations — sensor-triggered lights, scheduled curtains, the scene button — carry on. Remote viewing and control from outside naturally need a connection. The locks are never internet-dependent: fingerprint, code, card and mechanical key all work at the door itself.

What happens to a Smartverse smart lock in a power cut?

The locks run on their own batteries, warn you early when the batteries run low, and keep an emergency contact for the worst case: a USB-C port at the door powers the lock from any power bank, and the mechanical key always remains.

Which other brands does the Smartverse system work with?

Smartverse publishes integration with selected devices from brands such as Aqara, Philips, TP-Link, Daikin, Sonos and IKEA, plus Apple HomeKit and Amazon Alexa. “Selected” is the honest word — it is not open interoperability. If a specific device matters to you, name it in the consultation and we confirm it before you commit, not after.

Who installs a Smartverse smart home in Malaysia, and how is it quoted?

Verified technicians from the MyLock network. Every home is quoted on its own site conditions — track lengths, switch gangs, whether your wiring carries a neutral. We measure first, then quote, so the number you agree to is the number you pay.

Can MyLock attend late at night for lock issues?

Installations are scheduled work, planned at your convenience. For urgent lock-related matters late at night, MyLock’s dispatch platform reaches available technicians in your area — availability depends on the hour and the technician, and late-night attendance carries late-night rates.
